Welcome to my website!  I'm so happy that you found it.  This page will be devoted to news about my life as a writer - as well as a "blog" which begins below.  I write on a regular basis for various national Christian magazines.  I speak at various women's events.  INCREASED KNOWLEDGE - INCREASED FEAR?
The thing is that I like to know stuff... I want to know about all kinds of stuff.  I ask fifty million questions a day.   This is not a crime.   I don't think it's wrong to be a student of Life.  BUT really.. I think we have too much knowledge.  I mean, SERIOUSLY.. it all started with The Weather Channel.  Yeah, we used to - back in the Dark Ages called The 70's... we used to just have a glimpse of the weather.. we'd watch our local weather person - who was or was not a meteorologist - and we had some basic information.   We knew if we'd need an umbrella or not.  Yup.  THEN... we started to find out what the weather was in Outer Botswanamozambia..   At first we didn't care, but then we realized that today's weather in Outer Botswanamozambia would be the day after tomorrow's weather in our home town.    All of a sudden, we were watching the weather reports for the entire planet... all the time... and NOW we cannot leave without the WEEKLY PLANNER.     Now after watching a few hours of TV I am aware of the fact that 1 in 4 women my age develop osteoporosis and there is a simple pill to protect me from that - HOWEVER- some side effects include death.....decreased ability to breathe......lymphoma.....swelling......and alien voices in my head.   I'd rather break my leg.. and deal with something archaic called a cast.   Of course, there are warnings about cholesterol, heart disease, prostrate problems and foot odor.    We've got the reincarnation of the Three Stooges as our choice for Commander in Chief......the Russians are making bombs again...and I now know that if an earthquake occurs in Tokyo, our economy will fall with their skyscrapers.   OH.. by the way.. our economy is not doing well......and... even if it was.. Global Warming is going to make the middle of Iowa become our next location for beachfront property.    Thank God I know that HE is in control.....and I am HIS child.. and nothing that comes upon this planet can take me away from the eternal future He has for me.   In the meantime, I will simply watch HGTV and read The Bible.   Increased knowledge of HIS authority always reduces my fear.    He's got it all under  control.  AMEN
